3D – All that we expect?

Straight from Sony’s Website, news of a step “beyond” HD: 3D.

When you think of 3D, I am assuming you think the same way I do. You imagine a total 360 degree world, fully interactive with seamless graphics and constant load-screen free gameplay, right? Yeah. Seems a bit farfetched.

Well i checked it out, read up on it, and still couldnt believe that this would be such an improvement over HD. I had all but chalked it up to Sony Hype, but then I saw the video of what its SUPPOSED to look like.

And holy shit.

Apparently, the television works in such a way that the television will almost seem to not even be there at all. As though your game magically sprouted right up from the console like in those projections in sci-fi movies. Graphics so nice that there will be no slight haze, discoloration, blurr of any kind on your screen. The fact you even have a screen will surprise you when you turn this bad-boy off after playing.

Dont believe me? Of course not. Who am I but some nameless, faceless writer?

Check it out for yourself.

Find out more about the Sony Bravia 3D television on Sony’s official site.

I won’t buy into 3d until I don’t need glasses. It isn’t that I feel stupid wearing them, they just give me a headache.

Unless people have to buy a new console or hardware add on, that’s freaking genius planning on their part.

As far as i know, there hasnt been any mention of 3D Glasses.
The picture is just there for show.

I just wanna be clear, that the above movie is about 3D in general and NOT about the Television being produced.
Its possible that “glasses” may be part of it, but nothing has been released to confirm or deny it.
