Well we all know since Microsoft has announced Fable III there have been more rumors swirling around than anyone could keep up with.
Since the press release, gaming forums and communities everywhere have been filled with cynics trying to conjur reasons why Fable III wont be a success.
Recently Peter Molyneux has admitted there will be “radical” changes to the Fable series in the upcoming title.
Since that juicy bit of news, fanboys have been terrified of what this change could be.
G4 has confirmed Molyneux will release this universe-altering information at the upcoming X10 conference on Thursday.
I would run out of space listing all the rumors, but some of the most popular forum troll hypotheses for the Fable change have been one; the introduction of the Natal system. This could mean that like the Wii balance board, players use their own motion control in order to move their character.
Another big speculation is that Lionhead studios will remove the RPG aspect of the game, and leave it as basically a complex adventure style game. Personally this one leaves me nervous, as much of the games appeal (at least in the original) came from the complexity of RPG installments.
The good news is that for better or worse, the announcement from Molyneux will be made this week, and speculations will be done with.
Whatever the news may be, I am more than confident in Microsoft Studios, and Lionhead studios to make good decisions and take their time to deliver another fun and rewarding installment in the beloved Fable universe.
