Have Any Questions About Halo: Reach?? Awesome, Read The Complete 411 To The Highly Anticipated End

If some of you don’t know, Halo: Reach is the acclaimed last addition to the franchise of Halo. Now, I will show you EVERYTHING! As I said in my previous article on Halo: Reach, we have been promised better weapons, better graphics, and an epic storyline. If you were a user of the much-hated battle rifle, I’m sorry to say that it has been lost. Sadly, it hasn’t been thought of yet. However there is a much better solution, after the click. The Designated Marksman Rifle, DMR for short, is the battle rifle’s replacement, and it kicks butt! As of now, we don’t know if it shoots in bursts yet, but it is said to be the child of an assault rifle and sniper making it medium-to-long range…only.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you combined the super-combine power of a needler and the awesome accuracy of a carbine? Yeah, yes they did and no, you are not dreaming; say hello to the Needle Rifle! It is said to be the Covenant equivalent to the DMR; however, being a combination of the needler and carbine it did not inherit the Needler’s lock-on ability for that would be insane. You’d never want to put it down.

Enemies are getting an upgrade too. You know the small, frail, beak-like thing that liked to snipe-Jackal was it? Yeah, it has a cousin that we just so happened to never notice called a skirmisher. Think of a Jackal that’s stronger, more combat trained, and ready to kick some ass! Hey I think I’ll show you a picture of one.And last but not least, those of you who have been waiting for so long, the time has come again. The Elite is NOT on our side and it’s one hell of a fighter. Prepare for a faster, sleeker, more agile foe who has the option to end your life with a swift thrust of an energy sword. As for vehicles, I do know that the warthog will still be in play and The Hawks(Halo Wars) are getting they’re debut. For all your Halo: Reach needs please feel free to e-mail or comment on the post and I’ll answer. So for now we can only wait for the game itself to show it’s face Fall 2010.

The nerd in me hates that they introduce weapons in prequels that are better than their successors. Where did these awesome guns go during the actual Halo battles? I don’t remember much about Halo Wars. What’s the difference between the Hawk and the Hornet?

Ben Dawson February 9, 2010 at 1:52 pm

Yeah I completely agree. Did they just choose to discontinue the guns out of nowhere, or is the story going to be told in the next Halo? Hornet: Big, blocky, two 50-cal machine guns, twin missile pods and alot sturdier than the Hawk.

Hawk: Laser, one gatling gun, hell of alot faster than the Hornet, and has more transport space.
Also, I got a tip today that for all of you Halo Wars players, The Vulture is welcoming Halo: Reach with it’s debut. That’s right, expect to see vultures and LOTS of ‘em!!
