The original Just Cause was really lacking in many ways. Perhaps I’m just spoiled by games like the Grand Theft Auto series where the vehicles handle awesomely, and intuitive combat reign’s king. When there is a standard set for this style of game play, developers really have to push themselves to meet the high standard and make a game playable. The first Just Cause just didn’t really work for me, which is why I was surprised when I stumbled on the trailer for the second game. And even more surprised by how promising it looks.
Really despite the extreme unrealistic events that are displayed, the graphics look great. The jump like looks fluid and smooth, the combat looks like they might be a lot of fun, and over all I want to play this game! But then again when I saw the screens and videos for the first game I felt the same way, and that was a complete let down. I hope this isn’t the case this time.
