P.B. Winterbottom: Hearts, Pies Stolen; PC Port on the Way

Winterbottom

2K Play announced that The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is set for release on Windows PC through Steam later this month. Not only is it being transferred over to a different medium, this version, a project of 2K China, will include many new features, from puzzles to achievements.

Mac users, fear not! Steam is now not only more Mac friendly, it recognizes Mac equality. Though Winterbottom isn’t compatible (yet?), should a version be released, players will be able to use SteamCloud across the two platforms. Since many developers, major and indie alike, were excited at the announcement of Steam for Macs, it may not be long before we see greats like Winterbottom stroll through the Apple orchard.

New puzzles? So now my 360 version is officially the red-headed stepchild with the worst experience of any version. Thanks 2k.

I played the demo of this game on 360 and it was pretty fun, but now I’m glad I didn’t buy it.
