PS3 Clock Glitch Fixed

by AlexB on March 2, 2010 · 3 comments

Yesterday sure was horrifying for fat PS3 owners, as a nasty glitch slithered onto the Playstation Network. This glitch gave anyone with a “fat” PS3 error code  8001050F, which disables games to be played, or connect to PSN. It also set the clock to December 31st, 1999 (Party Like it’s 1999, anyone?) Worst of all, any trophies earned before syncing them to the PSN are now corrupt.

Strangely enough, however, PS3 slims did not recieve this error, and have been working fine.

Sony patched this glitch early this morning, but you’re going to have to earn those lost trophies again.

Thank goodness I didn’t turn on my ps3 in the past 3 days.

If i had to get all those borderlands trophies again, when I am one level away from getting my Plat…I would red ring of Rage all over my house.

Raaaaage!

I am not even going to check to see if I lost any trophies. You can’t get angry if you ignore the problem.
