Ubisoft just announced that they’ve teamed up with Olympic gold medalist Shaun White to create Shaun White Skateboarding. The game is currently in production and is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal. The tentative release date falls in somewhere in the 2010 holiday season.
Both the athlete and the company are excited for the new release. White says that “it’s ready to melt minds.” How this will stand out from other skateboarding games has not been mentioned, but from the sound of the official press release, the game will be “unique.”
Comparatively, Shaun White Snowboarding titles did well on the Wii, due to the integration of the Wii Balance Board; however, the game franchise didn’t do so well on other consoles. No word on whether or not Shaun White Skateboarding will be a Wii exclusive, or if the company will make the game available across all platforms.

Make it a Wii exclusive. This looks like crap.
