The violence, which seeps into every nook and cranny of the title, runs so deeply that it is entangled in the very presentation. MadWorld is filthily brutal, never blinking in its quest to make mutilation funny.
It’s all just so ludicrously overdone in the same way that Ash cutting off his own hand in Evil Dead 2 is that you can’t help but giggle.
